This is a tape style saturator. Synths, vocals, drums, or you can add flavor and character to the beat or the entire mix.
Punisher uses a unique internal push/pull equalizer curve to tailor the saturation effect to the track.
For example, you can target only the high range of a drum beat and preserve the kick transient in a very natural way.
You can also target only the midrange of a synth and preserve its definition.
