RYM2612 Iconic FM Synthesizer

The YM2612 (OPN2) installed in the Mega Drive (Genesis) is an FM sound source with 4 operators.

Originally released as a Reason rack extension, it is now available in VST / AU / AAX.

Two DACs, “Crystal Clear” and “Legacy”, are available. “Legacy” which emulates the actual machine firmly emulates the atmosphere of the actual machine.

There are 100 presets available. The point is that the CPU load is light.

You can load the VGM file with RYMCAST launched standalone, and drag and drop the tone for each track onto the RYM2612 launched with DAW.

It is difficult to make the sound of FM sound source, so let’s use it.
